Spiral Sun Silver Inlay Pendant
A Vortex of Stone and Light
This extraordinary round pendant pulls the eye into a deep iridescent spiral — handcrafted in Peru using traditional inlay techniques passed down through generations. An abalone shell spiral winds inward at the center, flanked by abalone fields on the left and right and anchored by gold mother of pearl triangles pointing north, south, east, and west. Bold sections of red spiny oyster shell arc across the top and bottom, while sodalite fills the deep blue diagonal bands. Orange spiny oyster shell bridges the transitions on the diagonals and accents the bail. Chrysocolla beads punctuate the left and right sides with vivid teal-green color. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, shaped from solid sterling silver 950.
